How AVS Tecnologia simplified support and implementation with Lumiun DNS
After starting my partnership with Lumiun, I simplified support for the solution I offer my customers. Besides eliminating the need to maintain a virtual machine and perform backups, I began using the Lumiun DNS agent, which made it possible to control internet access on workstations outside the network. For me, ease of licensing, implementation, solution maintenance, and cost are the partnership's main differentiators.
I was already serving several customers who used an internet access control solution. I was looking for an alternative that would offer simpler support and solution management. It was in this context that the partnership with Lumiun began.
With Lumiun DNS, support became simpler. Previously, I had to create a virtual machine on the customer's server, perform backups, and maintain that structure. I also began using the agent for installation on workstations, a feature I did not have before that made it possible to control internet access on devices outside the network.
My experience with the Lumiun team has been good, but there are still areas that can improve, especially regarding the bugs we reported in the agent. For me, the main differentiators of the partnership with Lumiun are the ease of licensing, implementation, solution maintenance, and cost.
